ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Catherine Cawthorne, who once dreamed of being a toothpaste tester, owning a café serving hot Ribena, and, of course, becoming an author like her childhood heroes Jo March and Anne Shirley. Catherine spent her childhood climbing trees, reading, and forming secret societies in her best friend's shed. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her living in Guildford as a librarian with her husband and three kids, likely crying over a good book. (She once managed to cry her contact lenses out while reading The Railway Children to her daughter!) Springing into the picture book space, Catherine has published Big Bad Wolf Investigates Fairy Tales, We Went to Find a Woolly Mammoth and We Went to Find a T-Rex in the last two years.
