How to Book

The 2012 festival will take place between 18 - 27 October. We will announce when tickets go on sale. Except where stated, tickets for all Festival events will be available from:

Tickets can be purchased in the following ways:

Online: You can book online via our website www.guildfordboookfestival.co.uk

In person: You can book in person and pay in cash, by cheque or by credit card at either The Electric Theatre or Tourist Information Centre.

By phone: You can book with a credit/debit/switch card by calling the Box Offices.

By post: Please download the booking form and send it together with a cheque and SAE to the Tourist Information Centre (address above). Cheques should be made payable to 'Guildford Borough Council'.

 

Door Sales

It is best to book in advance to avoid disappointment. However, most venues will sell tickets on the door subject to availability.

 

Collection of Tickets

Except for events at The Electric Theatre, tickets must be collected from the Tourist Information Centre by 12 noon on the day of the event.

For tickets not booked through the Festival Box Offices, please refer to the relevant box offices for arrangements for collecting tickets.

 

Refunds/Returned Tickets

Once you have paid for your tickets, we regret that we are unable to make refunds except in the case of a cancelled event. Tickets for sold out shows may be left at the Box Office for possible cash resale. Resale cannot be guaranteed.

 

Seating

Except for events taking place in the auditorium at The Electric Theatre, G Live and The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, seating at all events is unreserved so you can sit anywhere you like.

 

Latecomers

Please arrive in good time for events. Admitting latecomers is discretionary and you may not be admitted after the beginning of events.

 

We reserve the right to change programmes, authors/presenters or locations if circumstances dictate.
