One of the UK’s most treasured crime and thriller novelists Peter James, presents his debut ghost story. Join us for a spine-tingling eveningas the creator of the bestselling Roy Grace series reveals how the chilling tale of ghosts and the supernatural appearing in The House on Cold Hill were inspired by true life events, even stranger than fiction.
Moving from the centre of the city of Brighton and Hove to the Sussex countryside is a big undertaking for long term townies, Ollie Harcourt, his wife Caro and their twelve year old daughter, Jade. But when they viewed their new home, an old Georgian mansion, Cold Hill House, they thought it was perfect. Before long, they realise that they are not the only ones in the house. There are sightings of an old lady who appears from nowhere and furniture is mysteriously moved. Gradually the sightings become more sinister and the Harcourts find themselves trapped within the dark history of Cold Hill House with no way of escape.
