There are plenty of good reasons to head to the Festival. There are over many events on a range of subjects from crime and cookery to history and biography. You can meet the authors, ask them questions and refine your own writing skills at our workshops programme. There's also the added bonus of getting your books signed. The Festival is a great place to pick up some early Christmas presents too!

Don't forget, most events are just an hour long so do come to as many events as you can – after which there is a whole array of attractions, shops and places to eat and drink in and around the town.  Find out more
