Terms & Conditions

The Promoter — These terms and conditions govern the competition run by Guildford Book Festival. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms.

The Prizes — The prizes consists of two adult or family tickets to this year's main festival, two family tickets to our Summer Children's Festival, and a signed book bundle including books from Ally Sherrick, Truly Johnston, Catherine Cawthorne, Amanda Wood and Clare Pollard. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

Eligibility — The competition is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over.

How to Enter — To enter, participants must:

- Like the competition post on any of the Guildford Book Festival social media platforms.

- Follow the Guildford Book Festival on the same platform.

- Be signed up to our Guildford Book Festival newsletter

All requirements must be met to be entered into the competition.

One Entry Per Person — Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms.

Closing Date — The competition closes at midnight 29 July 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

Winner Selection — The winners will be selected at random from all valid entries after the closing date. The draw will take place on or before the 1st of July.

Winner Notification — The winners will be notified via email within two days of the draw. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not respond within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Prize Delivery — Details of prize fulfilment will be confirmed with the winners upon notification. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for prizes lost, delayed, or damaged in transit.

Data Protection — Personal data provided by entrants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy.

General — The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, anyone other than the Guildford Book Festival.
